Job Description and Skills
Regency Power Generation is a leading UK installer of diesel generators and part of the Xeinz Group that includes Welland Power Ltd. We have a dedicated team who and help our customers to get the best out of their power solutions.
This role involves the effective service, repair and customisation of diesel generators and its core components across a broad range of OEM’s.
The successful candidate will:
• Practical experience in the mechanical/electrical installation work on diesel generators/engines and associated electrical/plant equipment.
• minimum ONC/HMC mechanical/electrical qualifications with relevant industry certification.
• Completion of test and commissioning certificates, reports, Health and Safety documentation.
• PLC Controls experience - preferred.
• Driving Licence.
• CSCS Card, or equivalent - preferred.
Personal qualities will include reliability, a desire for personal development and business growth and total commitment to exceeding customer expectations.
Performance measures
• Quality control while maintaining timely delivery.
• Completion of all required documentation achieved in a timely manner.
• Project management and delivery ensuring compliance with building and electrical regulations.
• Maintaining sufficient consumable stock.
• H & S compliance.
Competencies
• Word/Excel and report writing – ideal.
• Attention to detail.
• Supporting Workshop/Field service work as required.
• Effective Communication
• Capable of working alone.
• Commercial awareness working within budget controls
• Able to manage and deliver multiple on-going projects.
