Job Description and Skills
Regency Power Generation is a leading UK installer of diesel generators and part of the Xeinz Group that includes Welland Power Ltd. We have a dedicated team who and help our customers to get the best out of their power solutions.
This role involves the effective service, repair and customisation of diesel generators and its core components across a broad range of OEM’s.
The successful candidate will:
• demonstrate practical experience in mechanical/electrical maintenance and repair work on diesel engines/generators and associated electrical/plant equipment. This will include the capability for diesel engine rebuilds and ideally, alternator repairs and a working knowledge of control systems
• be mechanical/electrical apprentice trained with relevant industry qualifications
• be capable of producing detailed service reports in a timely manner
• be experienced in load bank testing (optional)
• be able to work alone or part of a larger engineering team
Personal qualities will include reliability, a desire for personal development and business growth and total commitment to exceeding customer expectations.
Performance measures
? Low-Levels of service rework.
? Completion of all required documentation achieved in a timely manner.
? Maintaining clean, safe and efficient service workshop.
? Maintaining sufficient workshop consumable stock.
? H & S compliance.
Competencies
• Word/Excel and report writing – ideal.
• Attention to detail.
• Supporting Workshop/Field service work as required.
• Effective Communication
